Tourist Attractions and Tours

18 tours have been set up for our organization, for pre and post convention, and during the cruise. The firm we engaged to put these together – with valuable input from Northwest Region members – is Cantrav Leisure Services, which partners with the British Columbia Automobile Association.

Why sign up through them? An important reason is that you’ll be able to relax and be assured, not worrying about tours that may have sold out before our cruise even leaves. Additionally, you’ll be in the same tour group as others from POWERtalk.

Read about these tours and sign up at www.cantravleisure.com/powertalk.

Those of you who plan to attend the POWERtalk International 2009 Convention will be visiting a region with many opportunities to supplement the tours available at the three shore landings of our cruise ship Serenade of the Seas.

Vancouver and Vancouver Island offer numerous scenic, recreational and historical sites which you could visit on your own or through local tour companies.

Seattle and the Puget Sound area of Northwest Washington State are located 3 to 4 hours drive south of Vancouver for your touring pleasure.

If you have the time, scenic tours of British Columbia, Alberta, Alaska, Washington, Oregon and Idaho could be added to your itinerary.

We will be adding tour information to the webpage in the next few months to help you in your trip planning.

Do you have questions about visiting the Pacific Northwest? Send an email to Jim at tours@powertalkconvention.com.
