Many of you indicated you wish to have time to tour the beautiful City of Vancouver and/or tour some other attractions in the area. Also as our boarding time for the ship will start late morning to early afternoon Saturday, July 18, we encourage members to arrive at least the day before. This way if you encounter difficulties or delays getting to Vancouver you won't miss the cruise's 5:00 p.m. departure time. Travelers arriving from a great distance will appreciate the extra time to catch up on sleep and reset their internal time clock to be ready for the activities we have planned for you. It will also allow time to pick up your registration packets prior to boarding.
The Delta Vancouver Airport Hotel is situated on nine acres of waterfront property on the banks of the Fraser River. Riverside trails connecting directly to the hotel are perfect for the fitness enthusiast looking for biking, rollerblading, running or a leisurely stroll. It is nestled in the midst of a 138 slip marina and pictureque garden setting.
Just 5 minutes away from the Vancouver International Airport, the hotel provides complimentary airport shuttle. It is also only 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver with convenient access to public transportation, nearby shops and local attractions.
Room rates are $185 Canadian for a Delta Room Type and $205 for Premier Room Type, double occupancy. An extra person charge above that for either room type is $20. per person/per night.
